Spring Bloom
Name: Anemone

The Anemone is in a group of flowering plants that belongs to the Ranunculaceae, or buttercup family. There are more than 120 different varieties of this flower, making for lots of different colors. They are found in the woods and meadows of the northern and southern zones. Being a perennial herb, it represents well with an underground root stock. The large attractive petals make for a pleasing to the eye sort of look. The Anemone is also known as the windflower, and may grow up to one meter tall.

Spring Bloom
Name: Bloodroot

The Bloodroot is a native flower of North America and is also known as the bloodwort, the red puccoon root, and the pauson. This flower blooms from the months of March through May and are found in moist to dry woods and thickets, with their favorite places being thickets, on flood plains, near shores and streams and on slopes. The deer like to feed on this flower in the Spring. This plant is mainly spread around by ants, and are loved by gardeners for their white flowers.
